Hey, Minseok here. I also go by Xiumin or just Min if the other two are hard to pronounce for some reason 哈哈 We're a multicultural bunch, right? Who knows!

I'm not new to Hong Kong, but I'm new here and probably to most of you. I figured, "new year so new me" sort of thing. It's trite, but it's true. I usually don't get out much, but I'm graduating soon so... With school out of the way, I won't have much else to do. If I'm going to stay here the rest of my life, might as well make friends!

It's not the friendliest start. First impressions are important, right? Let's start over. I'm Kim Minseok, originally from Seoul, South Korea. I speak Korean, English, and Mandarin pretty fluently, so don't worry about language barriers. I even know some Canto and a little French. I love languages, and people's choice of words can really tell you a lot about them. And I mean fluent speakers, someone who might choose between "abnormal" or "unique" to describe something that is simply "different."

So let's play a game called word association. I'll start, and each reply has to have the first word that pops into your head. Don't hesitate! All words are allowed, even curses or other taboo things. I'm from the Culinary Arts Department! Our building is just right next to yours. The pink haired senior from the masters class is quite popular among the ladies in my department, you know. If you visit us, you might find yourself getting swarmed by girls.

I can only think of one for spicy and it's hot. Just like the galbitang I just made right now. ^^

I should stay away from girls that cook, I'll end up gaining weight if I date one ㅋㅋㅋ

Yes, I'm Korean too. I moved in to Hong Kong just a little over 2 years ago during a warm, sunny day.
