I was told this was the thing to do. Hello, my name is Cade Lu, born and raised in Beijing, studied in Berlin and probably would've stayed there too. Presently, I'm chief curator for the Hong Kong Museum of History, so I tend to keep long hours there when I can't work from home.

I like ancient texts and red wine, cooking and watching horror shows, particularly zombies. I don't like heights and very crowded places. Or public transportation. Or writing out introductions... much.

What does a curator do?

Do you do tours? Design the displays? Or do you just look after the stuff?

Ah... essentially, my job is to oversee everything from staffing to acquisitions to exhibitions and everything in-between, second only to the board of directors. I do a lot of things, but not tours. That's the job of the docents.

Sounds like you got a lot of responsibility on your plate there a short curator. Is it an exciting job? What do you do in a museum when you get bored?

As of now? The first Contracted film, even if it isn't... quite zombie. Are you a zombie film connoisseur, as well?

What did you like most about Berlin?

Most notably the climate. It's quite different from what we have here in Hong Kong. Nicer, if you ask me. The food is pretty great, too. Have you been there?

I haven't. Other than Korea and here, I haven't been anywhere. Pretty sad, isn't it? ㅋㅋ

i still remember my first visit to the museum when i was a kid, i loved it! i've only been back in a couple times recently, and i'm impressed with how much it has expanded in so little time.
